We created this space to bridge the gaps within creative communities of color here in Richmond in hopes to build a communal ecosystem and build a culture of connection and collaboration.

Who Are We?
GRITS is creative studio // art collective led by multidisciplinary artists of color. We specialize in communicating the diverse narratives of today through story-based content and experiences rooted in culture, education, and social change. Born from a need for diversity in both the commercial and art spaces, we work to shift narratives by using our creative voice to re-center radical joy and empowerment.
